# Credits and reveals

> What each v3 call costs, from the same balance as v2.

v2 and v3 spend from one balance: the monthly credits, top-ups and reveal cap of
your plan. Plans and credit packs are the same as on v2, in
[Credits and pricing](https://docs.fomoscan.sh/concepts/credits.md).

* A call that answers takes its credits from the key's monthly balance. A `free`
  operation takes none.
* A reveal is one unit of the key's monthly reveal allowance. Operations that
  show who owns a wallet or what a trader earned take them, as the Reveals
  column says.
* A refusal (`400`, `401`, `402`, `403`, `429`, `503`) costs nothing. A `404`
  costs the operation's miss price.
* A metered key that cannot pay for an answer gets `402 QUOTA_EXCEEDED` in its
  place. It is never charged past its balance.
* `GET /v3/me` shows what is left. It is free.
