# Rate limits

> Per key, per address, and requests in flight.

| Per key | The key's `ratePerMinute` (`GET /v3/me`), reported in the `RateLimit-*` headers. | 429 `RATE_LIMITED` with `Retry-After`. |
| Per address, before the key is checked | 2,400 requests per minute. | 429 `RATE_LIMITED` with `Retry-After`. |
| Per address and operation | Requests per minute: 2,000 on most operations; 120 on `POST /v3/traders/pnl`; 120 on `GET /v3/me`; 120 on `POST /v3/wallets/pnl`; 600 on `GET /v3/leaderboards/{platform}/{board}`; 600 on `GET /v3/rankings/{key}`. | 429 `RATE_LIMITED` with `Retry-After`. |
| Requests in flight at once on one API instance, across every key | 30 requests. | 503 `OVERLOADED` with `Retry-After: 1`, before the key is checked. |
| Requests in flight at once on one API instance, for one key and the keys under it | 15 requests. | 429 `RATE_LIMITED` with `Retry-After: 1`, after the key is checked. |

A refused request costs nothing. Retry after the seconds in `Retry-After`.
