# Posts

> What traders post, with the position behind it and how the call did.

![Illustrative posts from GET /v3/posts: the fictional traders @quietwhale on pump.fun about \$SOLCAT at 3.4x and @degenmath on FOMO about \$GRIDLY at 1.8x, with the next page at ?cursor=nextCursor](https://mintcdn.com/socialscan/IovDmO5aKwtscGfq/images/art/v3-posts.webp?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=IovDmO5aKwtscGfq\&q=85\&s=71149205d9e64a7dc3ce9f1cbd4ece92)

| Endpoint | Answers |
| - | - |
| [`GET /v3/posts`](https://docs.fomoscan.sh/v3/api-reference/posts/read-the-post-feed) | the newest posts of every platform |
| [`GET /v3/tokens/{network}/{address}/posts`](https://docs.fomoscan.sh/v3/api-reference/posts/read-the-posts-about-a-token) | the posts about one token |
| [`GET /v3/traders/{traderId}/posts`](https://docs.fomoscan.sh/v3/api-reference/posts/read-the-posts-of-a-trader) | the posts of one trader, optionally about one `token` |

All three answer newest first, take `platform` to keep one platform, and page
with `cursor`. Posts come from FOMO and pump.fun today. For posts as they
appear, open the [stream](https://docs.fomoscan.sh/v3/websocket/overview.md): it carries the same envelope.

## A post

```json theme={null}
{
  "kind": "post",
  "id": "pst_01jbstacskeh28anb6csvqf247",
  "canonical": {
}
```

* `canonical.author.trader` is the trader id: pass it to the
  [trader endpoints](https://docs.fomoscan.sh/v3/guides/traders.md).
* `segments` splits `body` into text and links, in order. It is empty for plain
  text.
* `revision` counts the edits we stored. `0` means the post was never edited.
* `firstSeenAt` is when we first read the post, `postedAt` when it went out.

## Blocks

Each post carries its blocks under its own platform's key in `sources`.
`GET /v3/capabilities` lists which platform fills which block.

| Block | Holds |
| - | - |
| `position` | The author's position in the token: `quantity`, `value`, `invested`, `realizedPnl`, `unrealizedPnl`, `totalPnl`, and `closed` once they sold it all. |
| `callPerformance` | How the call did: `marketCapAtCall`, `priceAtCall`, `multiple` (current price over the price at the call, 2 means it doubled) and `maxMultiple`. |
| `engagement` | Comment, reply, repost, quote and view counts. |

## Price

Post lists cost 200 credits per started 20 rows of `limit`, and 10 credits flat
with `platform=pump`. They take no reveal.
